About Kim

Kim W, MPA, has worked at a diverse array of organizations, from private to public. She has focused on communications and marketing, program management, and strategic analysis. She has traveled the world for her professional career - she's volunteered in Guatemala, consulted in India, Kenya, Australia, and Cambodia on WASH initiatives, and taught Rwandan women in maths. To fuel her love of teaching and mentoring, Kimberly has tutored students of all ages in mathematics since high school; over time her lessons have included French, chemistry, history, and literature. She's the Founder and Principal of FLUSH.

She received her MPA and B.Sc in business at New York University. She also has a Masters in Integrated Water Management at the University of Queensland in Australia.

She speaks English and French; she also has had basic language skills in Thai, Spanish, and Arabic.

A nomadic heart living (usually) with her home base in New York City Metro Area, she has been passionate about travel once she found a closet in her house she could use as a traveling device when she was four. She loves getting completely immersed in new cultures, and cannot wait for her next adventure!

In her free time, Kim loves to practice Reiki and yoga. She also enjoys cooking and reading. She has practiced Muay Thai and has jogged in several races. She is a professionally-trained contralto singer, and was a dancer for over 10 years - she even competed! Oh, and she loves cute, fluffy animals...particularly puppies.
